Flexible schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background with creativity for providing exceptional haircuts and/or styling services to our clients (kids and their parents) . This role requires someone who naturally smiles, has a friendly nature, an upbeat, positive attitude, and a commitment to providing an unforgettable, fun, and exciting experience for each of our clients. Must have the ability to listen and communicate with clients to ensure their complete satisfaction. Must have commitment to maintaining high standards practices and cleanliness of salon. Responsibilities Provide a range of hair services including cutting, shampooing, blow drying and styling according to client preferences. Ensure all treatments meet high-quality standards. Provide exceptional client experience. Keep on top of current hair-cutting and styling trends. Listen and communicate clearly with clients to deliver the highest level of service. Educate clients on retail products that are best suited to their needs. Ability to work with kids. Maintain cleanliness of the salon and organized workstation in order to adhere to all health and safety regulations. Ability to multitask in a fast-paced atmosphere. Utilize salon software for appointment scheduling and client management. Mentor junior stylists or interns, sharing knowledge and techniques to foster their development. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and beauty treatments. Build lasting relationships with clients through excellent customer service and follow-up. Requirements Valid New York State cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations. Ability to cut both male and female hair. Proven experience in hair styling with a strong portfolio showcasing your work, but not mandatory. Enjoy and love working with kids and families. Proficient in customer service with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Experience with salon software is preferred. Strong attention to detail and a passion for the beauty industry.
