The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in hair cutting, styling, and grooming techniques, along with a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Barber, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming environment for clients while delivering high-quality hair services that meet their individual needs. Duties Perform haircuts, shaves, and beard trims with precision and attention to detail. Consult with clients to understand their preferences and recommend suitable styles. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling and grooming techniques. Provide nail care services as needed, ensuring client satisfaction. Assist at the front desk with scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries. Apply color theory knowledge to provide color services when requested. Utilize salon software for appointment management and client records. Mentor junior barbers or apprentices to enhance their skills and knowledge. Manage retail products effectively, utilizing retail math for inventory control. Skills Proficient in various barbering techniques including hair cutting, shaving, and styling. Knowledge of cosmetology principles related to hair care and treatment. Strong understanding of color theory for effective color application. Experience in nail care services is a plus. Ability to mentor and guide less experienced staff members. Familiarity with salon software for efficient operations. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on building client relationships. Retail math skills for managing product sales and inventory effectively. Excellent communication skills to interact with clients and team members.
