Salon Assistant Duties:
- Assist salon professionals with various tasks such as shampooing, conditioning, and styling hair
- Provide support during salon services.
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the salon
- Greet clients and assist with scheduling appointments
- Answer phone calls and handle customer inquiries
- Process retail sales and use basic retail math skills
- Assist with mentoring and training new salon assistants
- Upsell salon products and services to clients
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a salon or beauty-related environment is preferred but not required
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact professionally with clients
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
