Barber/Cosmetologist Razor Barber 730 Coleman Boulevard, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464 Job Overview Hi! Razor Barber is hiring a skilled and passionate Barber/Cosmetologist to join our new location! Barbers who work with us make their own hours and pick their own days that they work! Starting at 65% commission and 100% tips! Razor Barber is a posh, luxury barbershop for men. We are very high-end and work mainly by appointments! (We accept walk-ins when we can!) We do haircuts, fades, beard trims, shaves, facials, and more! This role requires not only technical expertise but also excellent customer service skills to build lasting relationships with clients. Responsibilities Provide high-quality barbering services including haircuts, shaves, and beard trims. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in compliance with health regulations. Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, offering professional advice on styles and products. Upsell additional services such as hair extensions, eyelash extensions, or makeup application when appropriate. Assist in store management tasks, including inventory management and retail sales of grooming products. Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering and hair styling to provide clients with contemporary options. Experience Proven experience in barbering or hairstyling is preferred. Familiarity with straight razor techniques is a plus. Knowledge of makeup application and hair extension techniques is desirable but not mandatory. Strong communication skills and ability to work well in a team-oriented environment are essential.
