As a Hair Stylist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the beauty and confidence of our clients through expert hair care, styling, and makeup application. You will also have the opportunity to mentor junior stylists and contribute to a positive salon environment. Responsibilities Provide high-quality hair styling services, including cutting, coloring, and treatments tailored to individual client needs. Utilize salon software for scheduling appointments and managing client records. Educate clients on hair care products and techniques to maintain their styles at home. Mentor junior stylists by sharing knowledge and best practices in hair styling and salon operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the salon area, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations. Stay updated on the latest trends in hair styling, color theory, and techniques to enhance service offerings. Assist in store management tasks as needed, contributing to a smooth operation of the salon. Requirements Valid cosmetology license or equivalent certification. Proficiency in hair styling techniques, including straight razor cutting and color theory. Experience with salon software systems; familiarity with Daysmart is a plus. Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients. Previous experience in mentoring or training junior staff is preferred but not required.
