Adjunct Cosmetology – Unicoi County High School Elizabethton, Tennessee, United States Adjunct Faculty – Part-Time Closing on: Jun 2 2025 Adjunct Cosmetology Instructor The Tennessee College of Applied Technology Elizabethton (TCAT) is accepting applications for an Adjunct Cosmetology Instructor at Unicoi County High School. The schedule for this position will be up to 30 hours per week.
Location:
Instructional Service Center at Unicoi (Unicoi County High School)
General Duties:
The instructor shall be responsible for, but not limited to, the following duties: Develops, plans, and prepares a complete competency-based course of study, lesson plans, assignments, and instructional aids and keeps these current and up to industry standards.
Responsible for student welfare including motivation, conduct, safety, discipline, appearance of students as well as job placement.
Observes all rules, policies, and regulations of the Tennessee Board of Regents and the College.
Maintains knowledge in the professional area of expertise.
Develops and maintains relationships with business and industry.
Prepares students for entry level work.
Other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent
Cosmetology Instructors License
Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in the field.
Pay Range:
$30 an hour
