This role requires proficiency in various hair cutting techniques, styling, and the ability to provide exceptional customer service. The Barber will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitized work environment. Duties Provide high-quality haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to individual client preferences. Utilize techniques such as hair extensions, hair threading, and makeup application to enhance client appearance. Maintain accurate records of client services using salon software for scheduling and tracking purposes. Sanitize tools and workstations in compliance with health and safety regulations. Upsell products and services to clients based on their needs and preferences. Mentor junior barbers or apprentices, sharing knowledge and skills to foster their development. Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering and hairstyling to provide modern services. Requirements Valid cosmetology or barbering license as required by state regulations. Proven experience in barbering with a strong portfolio of work showcasing various styles. Familiarity with salon software for appointment scheduling and customer management. Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor towards clients. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a safe working environment. Experience with hair extensions, hair threading, makeup application, and upselling is preferred but not mandatory.
