Beautician Haven Hall Healthcare Center 101 Mills St, Brookhaven, MS 39601 The Beautician works under the supervision of the Administrator providing beautician/hair styling services for nursing home residents and maintaining equipment and beauty parlor in an orderly, clean, sanitary and tidy manner in accordance to federal, state regulations and facility policies and procedures. Has primary responsibility for ensuring Facility residents requests and preferences for hair styles is provided in a satisfactory manner and in a sanitary, clean and tidy environment according to Company policy. Common responsibilities for Beautician or Hair Stylist include (but are not limited to): Promotes and maintains a focus of patient-centered care Adheres to laws, rules & regulations and practices ethical integrity and interpersonal skills Maintains compliance with long-term care regulations including federal, state and health regulations Demonstrates ability to adjust to changes in shift assignments to meet Facility needs Handles all hair styling in accordance with cosmetology standards, sanitary guidelines and safety precautions Has knowledge of chemicals and processes used in the hair styling industry Provides supplies and applies chemicals in a continuously competent manner Promotes friendly and positive atmosphere in deliver of hair styling services Identifies and responds in a timely and sensitive manner to the needs of the residents receiving hair styling services Maintains beauty/hair styling log for residents being serviced Perform position duties in a manner as to assure resident safety and rights are priority Adheres to the facility corporate compliance program and promotes the program in a positive and effective manner Performs other position-related duties as assigned, depending on assignment/shift setting ETC..
