Job Overview:

We are looking for a skilled and reliable Braider who is proficient in a variety of braiding and natural hair techniques. The ideal candidate is professional, creative, punctual, and committed to excellent client care and hair health.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide professional braiding and protective styling services, including: Knotless braids Box braids Twists (including Senegalese and Marley twists) Bohemian braids Gypsy braids Sew-ins Cornrows (with or without extensions) Stitch braids Loc maintenance and retwisting Educate clients on proper at-home hair care for their specific style. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with health and safety standards. Manage appointments professionally and ensure clients are serviced on time. Recommend products and treatments when appropriate. Stay updated on current braiding trends and techniques.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a professional braider. Strong portfolio or photos of previous work. Must be able to work with all hair textures. Excellent communication and customer service skills. Ability to stand for extended periods. Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented. Valid cosmetology or braiding license (if required by your state).

Preferred Skills:

Experience with natural hair care and scalp treatments. Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality results. Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.
