Our unique treatments are geared toward adventure seekers and nature lovers where we foster an environment of relaxation and well-being. The Spa Attendant ensures that the Spa is an inviting place that is well-stocked, clean, and organized for guest enjoyment. In addition to the public spaces, the Spa Attendant works with providers to ensure that the rooms are clean, stocked, and ready for service and works as part of the spa team to foster an environment of relaxation and well-being.
What you will be doing:
Greets and registers Spa guests, updates guest files, and answers telephones when needed; Communicate effectively with guests to customize and confirm treatments based on their preferences and needs Assists service providers with the preparation and cleaning of their service space as needed. Is knowledgeable about and promotes Spa services; guide guests through their spa journey, explaining treatment options and differences, ensuring a seamless and enjoyable experience. Cleans the Spa area and as often as needed; Wash, fold, and restock linens; ensure supplies, and other materials are available as needed throughout the day and after each treatment. Attend meetings and training sessions to stay current on treatments, products, and best practices. Carry out additional tasks assigned by management, supporting the overall success of the team and spa operations.
What you bring:
High School Graduate or GED equivalent, must be at least 18 years old. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage with guests and colleagues in a friendly, clear, and professional manner. Proficiency in English, both verbal and written. Ability to perform tasks with precision, attention to detail, and efficiency, even in high-pressure situations. Ability to follow directions and work cohesively with a team. Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively. Maintain confidentiality of guest and hotel information.
Qualifications:
CPR, AED and First Aid certification preferred. Prior spa experience a plus. Physical Demands and Work Environment Work environment is a spa and spa treatment rooms, may be humid and uses lower light levels. Must be able to walk, stand, and bend for the duration of the shift; Utilize frequent repetitive hand, arm, and shoulder motions. Must be able to lift, push or pull up to 30 pounds at times. Must be able to tolerate a variety of odors from massage oils and lotions.
