Braider Your Barber 10150 Dorchester Road, Summerville, SC 29485 Overview We are seeking a skilled and passionate Braider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in various braiding techniques and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service. As a Braider, you will play a vital role in enhancing our clients’ beauty experience while ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. Duties Perform a variety of braiding styles and techniques to meet client preferences and trends. Provide hair threading services as requested, ensuring precision and attention to detail. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of tools and workstations in accordance with health and safety regulations. Assist clients with hair extensions, offering guidance on styles and maintenance. Engage with clients to understand their needs, providing recommendations based on color theory and personal style. Handle front desk responsibilities, including scheduling appointments and managing client inquiries. Utilize retail math skills to assist in managing inventory and sales transactions effectively. Foster a welcoming environment through excellent communication and customer service. Skills Proficiency in various braiding techniques and hair styling methods. Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients. Knowledge of hair threading practices and the ability to perform them skillfully. Familiarity with retail sales practices, including understanding retail math for inventory management. Understanding of color theory as it applies to hair styling and extensions. Experience with hair extensions application and maintenance is preferred. Ability to maintain a clean work environment by sanitizing tools and equipment regularly.
