White Oak Manor York, 111 South Congress Street, York, SC 29745 We are a 109-bed beautiful campus with skilled nursing and rehabilitation center. We are seeking a skilled beautician to provide professional salon services for our residents. As our Beautician, you’ll play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being and self-esteem of our cherished residents. This position goes beyond traditional beauty services – it’s about creating moments of joy, fostering connections, and contributing to the overall quality of life for seniors. Help make a difference in the lives of our residents by providing them with high-quality, compassionate hair care. This position provides services on a weekly basis to residents. As part of our team, you’ll work closely with our Social Services and Business Office to coordinate schedules and tailor services to meet the needs of our residents. Key Responsibilities Maintain a clean, safe, and sanitized salon environment, following all sanitation and infection control procedures. Coordinate with the Social Services Director to create and maintain an efficient appointment schedule Provide a range of beauty services including haircuts, styling, coloring Build and maintain positive relationships with residents, families, and staff. Engage with residents in a friendly and respectful manner, contributing to their overall well-being Work independently, ensuring all salon services are provided in a professional and timely manner Requirements Licensed cosmetologist Must pass a criminal background check Minimum of 6 months of experience as a beautician, preferably with experience in a senior living or rehab setting. Proficient in performing men’s and women’s haircuts, styling, color, perms, blowouts, and wash and sets. Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff. A compassionate, friendly, patient, and professional demeanor.
