Role:

OnPoint Mobile Detail is seeking a highly motivated and responsible Lead Detail Technician to join our growing team. This role is ideal for an experienced detailer who is ready to take ownership of their work, manage daily operations independently, and help lead and train team members to ensure the highest level of service for our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate and manage a fully equipped mobile detailing truck independently. Deliver high-quality detailing services, including full details, paint correction, and ceramic coatings. Lead, train, and oversee new and existing team members to ensure consistent workmanship and efficient processes. Manage onsite problem-solving and decision-making when unexpected challenges arise during jobs. Perform routine equipment maintenance to ensure all tools, machines, and supplies are clean, properly functioning, and ready for daily use. Communicate professionally with clients, provide outstanding customer service, and address any client concerns or questions on-site. Maintain accurate records of services performed, job completion times, and any client notes or special requests. Report directly to management with updates on team performance, equipment needs, and job status.

Qualifications:

2+ years of professional detailing experience preferred. Experience with paint correction, ceramic coatings, and advanced detailing techniques. Strong leadership and team management skills. Excellent problem-solving abilities and the ability to make sound decisions on-site. Professional and courteous customer service skills. Reliable, organized, and detail-oriented. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
