As a Licensed Medical Aesthetician, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional skincare and aesthetic treatments to our patients. Your expertise in various cosmetic procedures, coupled with your in-depth knowledge of skincare products and technologies, will contribute to enhancing the overall appearance and well-being of our clients. Practice out of our Fort Lauderdale location. Essential Duties/ Responsibilities Responsibilities include but are not limited to: Perform professional consultations regarding available services and products; determine patient skincare goals and objectives, along with a care plan to facilitate achievement of those goals. Possess a comprehensive understanding of various skincare product lines, including their ingredients, benefits, and appropriate usage. Educate patients on the benefits of different skincare products and recommend suitable products for their specific skin type and concerns. Perform a wide range of advanced aesthetic treatments and procedures, including but not limited to facials, chemical peels, microdermabrasion, laser treatments (electrology license required), microneedling with radiofrequency, and non-surgical skin tightening. Accurately document EMR information upon each patient visit to include all notes, photos, recommendations, services and charges (this includes settings, peel layers, type, strength, modalities). Provide exceptional customer service by fostering a warm and welcoming environment, ensuring patient comfort, and addressing any concerns or questions. Build rapport and establish strong relationships with patients, demonstrating professionalism, empathy, and confidentiality. Follow up with patients post-treatment to monitor progress, address any complications, and provide additional guidance, if needed. Stay updated on the latest advancements in medical aesthetics and maintain proficiency in new techniques and technologies. Performs other related duties as needed.

Required Skills & Abilities:

Proven experience working as a licensed Medical Aesthetician in a reputable medical or cosmetic dermatology setting. Extensive knowledge of various skincare treatments, procedures, and products. Strong understanding of skin anatomy, conditions, and contraindications for treatments. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to educate and build trust with patients. Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean and safe treatment environment. Ability to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionals and take direction from medical practitioners. Willingness to stay updated on emerging trends and advancements in the field of medical aesthetics through continuing education and professional development.

License and Certifications:

State Esthetician license required Electrology license required Three years of related experience required.
