Job Brief We are looking for a compassionate and professional Funeral Home Staff Associate to assist in service operations of our funeral home. The Funeral Home Associate will be responsible for a variety of tasks including, but not limited to, visitations and services, and maintaining the cleanliness and orderliness of the funeral home. The ideal candidate should have strong interpersonal skills, the ability to handle stressful situations with grace and dignity, and a keen attention to detail. Prior experience in the funeral services industry is preferred but not required. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of the facilities for visitations and services
Transport the deceased to the church and/or cemetery Maintain the cleanliness and orderliness of the funeral home
Assist families and guests during visitations and services
Provide support to the Funeral Director as needed
Answer questions and provide information to families and guests
Assist in the arrangement of floral tributes
Ensure all operational procedures and health and safety policies are adhered to Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent
Previous experience in the funeral services industry preferred
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to handle stressful situations with compassion and professionalism
Must possess a valid driver’s license
Physical ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 75 pounds)
