Funeral Assistant Confidential 40 North Orange Avenue, Sarasota, FL 34236 We are a locally run Funeral Home and Crematory and currently have an opening for a part time Funeral Assistant in Sarasota , FL . Role and Responsibilities:
Provide quality service to our families. Assist in initial transfers of decedents into our care. Assist and provide support to Embalmers, including dressing and casketing decedents. Assist in transfer of decedent to airport. Assist on funeral services and visitations. Assist administratively in document collecting and running. And other duties directed by management.
Required Education and Licenses:
High School diploma or the equivalent At least one (1) year of directly related work experience Valid state-issued driver’s license in good standing and acceptable driving record Knowledge, Skills and Abilities . Ability to work evenings and weekends Ability to stand for extended periods of time Ability to lift, transfer, move deceased human remains Ability to work with strong personalities and maintain calm in difficult situations. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Ability to multitask and set priorities Reliable, punctual, and detail oriented Courteous, neat, friendly, and helpful Ability to learn funeral home procedures. Benefits Competitive hourly rate ‘
