We are currently seeking a dedicated and empathetic Funeral Director to join our team and continue our tradition of excellence.

Job Description:

As a Funeral Director, you will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating all aspects of funeral services, ensuring a seamless and respectful experience for the families we serve. You will work closely with grieving families to arrange funeral services, manage the preparation and transport of the deceased, and provide guidance and support throughout the entire process.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet with families to discuss funeral arrangements and provide guidance on available options.
• Plan, coordinate, and conduct funeral services in accordance with the family’s wishes and legal requirements.
• Obtain and prepare necessary documentation, including death certificates, permits, and other legal forms.
• Oversee the care and preparation of the deceased, including embalming and dressing.
• Coordinate transportation of the deceased to the funeral home, place of service, and cemetery or crematory.
• Ensure the proper handling and storage of remains.
• Manage the logistics of memorial services, viewings, and ceremonies.
• Uphold the ethical and legal standards of the profession.

Qualifications:

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Compassionate, empathetic, and understanding, with the ability to handle sensitive situations.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
