Funeral Director/Embalmer Rollings Funeral Service 4989 Mount Pleasant Church Rd, Macon, GA 31216 Caring, Respectful Funeral Home in Macon, Georgia, is seeking an experienced Funeral Director/Embalmer .
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Arrange and conduct funeral and memorial ceremonies in a professional, organized, and caring manner Care for the deceased respectfully while performing a variety of tasks, including removals and transfers; embalming, dressing, and casketing Arrange for and oversee interment or cremation of human remains Prepare necessary legal paperwork, including contracts, authorizations, death certificates and transit permits
REQUIREMENTS
Active and In Good Standing Funeral Director/Embalmer License with the state of Georgia High level of empathy and compassion At least 3 years’ experience in the industry Ability to serve and maintain several families in a given time period Excellent communication skills Detail oriented Ability to work weekends and evenings according to schedule Clean driving record Must be able to lift 50-75 pounds at times
