Exciting and Challenging Work The Funeral Home Liaison is responsible for ensuring that organ and tissue donation occurs on all eligible deaths by developing cooperative funeral home partnerships to minimize funeral home barriers and increase funeral home survey satisfaction. What You’ll Do Create, implement, and effectively manages relationships with funeral home directors and their staff. Collaborates with Director on strategic approach. Effectively leverages funeral home relationships to overcome barriers to donation in real-time. Professionally communicate with funeral home directors and staff in both formal and informal settings. Manages transporter relationships for eye and tissue cases. Ensures internal expectations and metrics are achieved. Manages contract embalming program and assesses embalming satisfaction with internal and external partners. Manages relationship with Mortuary Science programs at universities across service area. Routinely analyze data and outcomes to identify improvement opportunities. Follow up on all funeral home complaints, documents resolution, identify trends and appropriate action steps to minimize complaints. What You’ll Bring 3+ years of prior work experience in the funeral home industry strongly preferred Prior experience with embalming of organ and tissue donors strongly preferred Prior experience in managing vendor relations within the Funeral Home industry preferred Associate’s degree in Mortuary Science required Skill in establishing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders Schedule Monday-Friday days, some flexibility for off hours calls and questions What We’ll Bring Health insurance premium option at zero out of pocket for single coverage, eligible on your first day 401(k) Retirement Match
