Laundry Attendant Cobblestone Hotel & Suites 2905 Koniar Ave, Foley, AL 36535 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Your attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness will contribute significantly to the overall guest experience in our hotel environment. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder items according to established procedures. Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens, towels, and garments with care. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring that delicate items are handled appropriately. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area, including regular cleaning of machines and workspaces. Inspect items for stains or damage before processing and report any issues to management. Follow safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Collaborate with other staff members to ensure timely delivery of laundered items to various departments within the hotel. Requirements Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not mandatory. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritize workload effectively. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds as required. A positive attitude and willingness to learn new techniques related to laundering processes.
