This role is crucial in ensuring our guests enjoy clean and comfortable accommodations during their stay. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers to launder linens Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store items efficiently Inspect items for stains or damage prior to washing and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and uniforms. Inspect all guest rooms (check-out and in-progress) to ensure they meet cleanliness and quality standards. Check for any maintenance issues (broken items, plumbing problems, lighting issues) and report them for prompt repair. Ensure that rooms are ready for guest arrivals by checking check-out rooms as a priority. Follow all safety protocols when handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery. Requirements Previous experience in a hotel or laundry facility is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail and cleanliness. Knowledge of laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes, is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
