AMERICA- Madison,AL Madison, AL 35758 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and guest clothing are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is crucial in maintaining the overall cleanliness and comfort of our guests’ experience. The Laundry Attendant will work closely with the housekeeping team and front desk staff to ensure timely service and guest satisfaction. Duties Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and garments according to established procedures. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items to guest rooms. Provide excellent guest relations by addressing any laundry-related inquiries or concerns. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Assist with front desk operations as needed, including phone systems and guest services. Experience Previous experience in a laundry or hospitality environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with phone etiquette and front desk operations is a plus. Strong guest relations skills with a focus on providing exceptional service. Bilingual candidates are encouraged to apply as it enhances communication with diverse guests. Knowledge of hotel management practices or hospitality management is beneficial. Experience with night audit processes is an advantage.
