Laundry Attendant Position Available In Brevard, Florida

Laundry Attendant Beachside Laundromat Indialantic, FL 32903 Beachside Laundromat is seeking a diligent and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Laundromat Attendant. As a Laundromat Attendant, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our facility, providing excellent customer service, and delivering top-notch laundry services including wash, dry, and fold. Pay is:

$13/hr + tips

Responsibilities:

Operate and oversee the daily functioning of the laundromat, including the washing, drying, and folding of customers’ laundry. Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner, assisting them with any inquiries, and providing guidance on the use of equipment. Ensure a clean and well-maintained environment by regularly cleaning the machines, folding tables, and other areas of the laundromat. Monitor and maintain inventory levels of laundry supplies such as detergents, fabric softeners, and cleaning agents, and restock as needed. Handle cash transactions, operate the cash register, and maintain accurate records of sales and customer transactions. Address and resolve customer concerns or complaints promptly and professionally. Maintain a safe working environment by adhering to safety procedures and protocols. Perform other duties as assigned by the management team.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a laundromat or hospitality environment, is an asset but not mandatory. Strong customer service and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and helpful manner. Excellent time management and organizational skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks and prioritize work effectively. Detail-oriented approach to ensure the accurate and thorough completion of laundry services. Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. Basic math skills and the ability to handle cash transactions. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move laundry bags or other heavy items. Flexibility to work weekends as per the laundromat’s operational hours. A positive attitude and a willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
