POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY
The Night Guest Laundry Attendant (“NGLA”) associate mustdemonstrate and promote a strong commitment to providing the bestpossible experience for our guests. The NGLA is responsible forassisting guests overnight, including checking in and checkingguests out in accordance with company guidelines and procedures.
The NGLA is responsible for completing all laundryresponsibilities, answering phones, and ensuring that safety andsecurity procedures are in place in accordance with companyguidelines and standards. Watch A Day in the Life video for NightGuest Laundry Attendant
MAJOR / KEY JOB DUTIES
Demonstrates and promotes a 100% commitment to providing thebest possible experience for our guests and associates. Assists guests overnight, checking in and checking guests out,and collecting payment in accordance with company guidelines andprocedures. Processes all laundry in compliance with company standards.
This includes, but is not limited to, treating for stains, washing,drying and folding linens, terry, blankets, coverlets and showercurtains. Process all dishware in compliance with company standards. Thisincludes, but is not limited to, washing, drying andpackaging. Stocks all housekeeping carts, cart rooms and laundry roomswith appropriate products to ensure that PAR levels are+ maintainedthroughout the entire building, in compliance with brandstandards. Process reservations, registrations, payments, and departuresin accordance with company guidelines and procedures. Sets up and maintains the grab and go breakfast in accordancewith brand standards. Conducts periodic daily tours of the property to inspect forcleanliness, collecting trash and maintenance in accordance withstandards. Complies with all company policies and procedures, includingprompt reporting of safety and security issues directly to themanager or the appropriate authorities, cash handling and keycontrol.
OTHER DUTIES
Assists with the cleaning of any areas of the hotel as assignedby the manager when needed to include but not limited to frontdesk, associate breakroom, guest laundry, fitness room, vendingareas, stairwells and common areas. Responsible for maintaining overall hotel cleanliness. And any other duties as requested by the management team.
Thetypical shift for this position is 11:00pm to 7:00am

Understand and communicate in English proficiently to interactwith guests and associates. Operate the property management system technology. Requires theability to work through all shift reports and perform the auditfunction when necessary and assigned. Understand and follow documents such as safety rules, operatingand maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Complete routine reports and correspondence. Add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure,using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Apply good judgment at all times. Manage problems, address and solve guest-related issues.
ENVIRONMENTAL JOB REQUIREMENTS
Regularly required to remain stationary; navigate the hotel;handle, reach, and detect objects, tools, and controls and detectscent and sounds. Frequently required to bend and position self to access lowareas. Frequently required to lift and/or move laundry and dishes upto 25 pounds. On occasion one must push/pull carts weighing up to 50lbs. Occasionally required to traverse heights and remain stabilizewhile doing so. Frequently works in outside weather conditions (depending onhotel). Occasionally works in wet humid conditions (non-weatherrelated), near moving mechanical parts, in the presence of fumes orairborne particles and toxic or caustic chemicals, and risk ofelectrical shock. The work environment will typically be at moderate to loudnoise levels. The associate may be asked to travel to help additionallocations within a reasonable geography.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED); or oneto three months related experience and/or training; or equivalentcombination of education and experience.
