Our laundry attendants perform a variety of tasks such as washing and folding linens, fulfilling guest requests for additional amenities, occasionally cleaning rooms after our housekeeping team has gon,e and should be comfortable talking with guests and making them feel at ease. THIS POSITION IS AN EVENING POSITION, GENERALLY 3-10 PM. ROTATING WEEKEND WORK IS REQUIRED.

$14/hr. Sick, Vacation, Personal Time Off, Uniforms, and training provided.

Compensation:

$14 – $14 hourly

Responsibilities:

Inspect laundry equipment visually and report any maintenance issues to the building management Take out the clothes and linens after washing and dry them following the manufacturer’s recommendations Place all laundry in the washer and add the cleaning agents as directed Look at all of your linens and treat any stains that you find Check that all cleaning supplies are stocked and notify the general manager if any are running low

Qualifications:

1+ years as a laundry attendant, housekeeper or similar position Experience with a variety of commercial cleaning products and techniques High school diploma, GED, or equivalent Impeccable work ethic and excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills This position requires the ability to lift 20 or more pounds regularly About Company Staybridge Suites Tallahassee I-10 East welcomes you!
