Position Summary:

The Laundry Attendant is responsible for the proper cleaning, handling, and care of all linens, towels, uniforms, and other laundry items at the private club. This position ensures laundry operations are efficient, organized, and meet the high standards of cleanliness and presentation expected in a luxury club environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Wash, dry, fold, and press linens, towels, uniforms, and other items as required. Inspect items for stains, damage, or wear; treat stains and report damaged items to supervisors. Sort laundry items by fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area at all times. Ensure proper storage and distribution of clean linens and supplies to housekeeping or other departments. Assist with inventory and restocking of laundry supplies. Follow all health, safety, and sanitation procedures. Support housekeeping team as needed with linen deliveries or other tasks. Report equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs promptly.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in laundry or housekeeping services preferred. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle repetitive tasks. Attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness and quality. Good time management and organizational skills. Physical stamina to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods. Dependable, team-oriented, and professional.

Preferred Experience:

Experience working in private clubs, luxury hotels, or resorts. Familiarity with eco-friendly and fabric-specific laundry practices.
