The Islander in Destin is seeking a detail-oriented and dependable Laundry Attendant-Inspector to join our housekeeping team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a key role in maintaining our high standards of cleanliness, that linen provided to our guest by ensuring that linens, towels, and other laundry items are efficiently cleaned, organized, and stocked.

Responsibilities:

Wash, dry, fold, and organize linens, towels, and other laundry items in accordance with The Islander standards. Inspect units to Islander Standards Operate laundry machines safely and effectively, ensuring proper use of detergents and equipment. Inspect linens for damage or wear and report any issues to the Housekeeping Coordinator. Maintain cleanliness and organization in the laundry area. Assist with linen and supply inventory checks. Ensure laundry equipment is kept in good working condition and report any malfunctions. Follow health and safety guidelines, maintaining a clean and safe work environment. Collaborate with the Housekeeping team to ensure all laundry needs are met in a timely manner. Inspect units for cleanliness by following the company guidelines

Qualifications:

Previous laundry experience is preferred but not required. Previous experience in Inspecting units preferred Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Ability to lift and carry heavy loads. Must be reliable and punctual. Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand, bend, and lift for extended periods of time. Must be able to work weekends Must be able to pass background check
