Laundry Attendant HOS Management Saint Augustine, FL 32084 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our facility, ensuring that all items are laundered to the highest standards. This position is essential in providing exceptional service to our guests and maintaining the overall quality of our hotel operations. Duties Launder and dry clean linens, towels, and uniforms according to established procedures. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store laundry items efficiently. Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and effectively. Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by following sanitation guidelines. Ensure proper handling of chemicals and cleaning supplies in accordance with safety standards. Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and notify management when stock is low. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments. Qualifications Previous experience in a laundry or hotel environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively. Must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
