Wash & Fold Attendant Laundry Drop Services Perry, FL 32347
Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Wash and Fold Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for providing exceptional customer service and maintaining a clean and organized laundromat facility.
Duties:
- Perform laundry drop services including making a ticket, washing, drying, folding and bagging clothing in a professional,neat manner.
- Operate laundromat equipment efficiently and safely including irons, steamers, and more.
- Assist customers with selecting appropriate settings on a washing machine and or dryer
- Handle cash transactions accurately using a cash register, POS system
- Maintain cleanliness of the laundromat area and surrounding grounds to make it a welcoming environment
- Maintain cleaning of the lint collectors on the dryers
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly
- Is able to communicate with their superiors when maintenance is needed on appliances and knows when to submit a trouble ticket
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred
- Ability to handle cash transactions and operate a cash register
- Strong attention to detail to ensure locations are cleaned thoroughly and efficiently
- Basic math skills for processing payments and calculating change
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude
- Ability to stay busy and follow instruction
Nice-to-Have Skills:
- Experience in laundering services
