Laundry Attendant Sleep Inn 2091 Eatonton Road, Madison, GA 30650 Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all laundry services are performed efficiently and to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, uniforms, and other items within our facility, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Operate washing machines and dryers, ensuring proper settings for different fabric types. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, adhering to safety and quality standards. Inspect all laundered items for stains or damage and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring equipment is clean and in good working order. Collaborate with hotel staff to meet laundry needs promptly and efficiently. Follow all safety guidelines and protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Strip guest rooms of used linen and terry (towels, washcloths, etc.) as directed by housekeeping procedures. Assist with the delivery and distribution of clean laundry to guest rooms or hotel departments as needed. Work efficiently to meet daily laundry quotas and support the housekeeping team during peak periods. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to the appropriate department. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and workstations. Skills Strong attention to detail with a commitment to cleanliness and quality. Experience in dry cleaning or hotel laundry operations is preferred but not required. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks. Good communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and other departments.
