The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. Responsibilities Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder various items including linens, towels, and uniforms. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures. Inspect items for stains or damage before and after laundering; treat stains as necessary. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and work surfaces. Ensure proper handling of dry cleaning items and follow protocols for special care garments. Keep track of inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages to management. Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures while operating equipment. Experience Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with dry cleaning processes and equipment is a plus. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
