The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our hotel’s laundry services, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Responsibilities Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder hotel linens and guest garments. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures. Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness of laundry equipment and work areas to ensure a safe working environment. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care. Keep accurate records of laundry processed and report any discrepancies. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items. Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Requirements Previous experience in a hotel or commercial laundry setting is preferred but not required. Familiarity with laundering techniques including dry cleaning is a plus. Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions accurately. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads when necessary. Excellent time management skills to meet deadlines effectively.
