Laundry Attendant Conyers Lodging Llc 1337 Old Covington Highway SE, Conyers, GA 30013 SUMMARY of

POSITION

The primary function of a Laundry Attendant is to assure the overall success of the hotel by meeting or exceeding the guest expectation for linen and terry cleanliness and by assisting in the delivery of guest service. The Laundry Attendant must ensure guest satisfaction by providing cleanliness to linen and terry.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

This position is empowered to guarantee total guest satisfaction. Display hospitality and professionalism to our guests at all times. Take pride in representing Yonah Capital professionally with our guests. Assure that all transactions with guests are handled in a legal, ethical manner. Comply with Company Standards of Service as outlined for Yonah Capital. Project a favorable image of Yonah Capital to the public at all times. Treats guests, vendors, customers and co-workers with professionalism and respect at all times. Complete Departmental, Yonah Capital, and Brand standards training as assigned. Maintains a clean and neat appearance at all times. A complete uniform (or business dress for non-uniformed associates) must be worn at all times in public areas, including name tag. Have a thorough knowledge of emergency procedures. Sort, wash, dry and fold all linen and terry. Pull out of circulation stained and damaged linen and terry and set aside for mending or extra cleaning. Keep all equipment clean and report maintenance problems to supervisor. Keep laundry room and linen/terry storerooms stocked, clean and orderly. Keep all laundry and cleaning supplies stocked and stored properly. Assist in stripping rooms of linen and terry and help with stocking of housekeeping carts as needed. Acquire working knowledge of the property and all facilities to respond to guest questions effectively.
