Laundry Technician Center for Advanced Rehab at Parkside 110 Park City Rd, Rossville, GA 30741 The Center For Advanced Rehab at Parkside is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Technician professional to join our team. This role is essential in ensuring that all linens and garments are laundered, cleaned, and transported efficiently within our facility. The ideal candidate will have experience in laundry operations, particularly in a skilled nursing facility setting, and possess a strong commitment to maintaining cleanliness and quality standards. Follows facility policies and performs job duties in compliance with OSHA universal precaution, infection control and facility policies.

Part-time / 2nd Shift DUTIES and

REQUIREMENTS

Must be experienced at cleaning with a keen eye for details. Maintains a high level of cleanliness & safety throughout designated areas. Ensure that all equipment is clean and in working condition at all times. Removal of trash & soiled linens. Must be able to lift fifty pounds. Ensure work/cleaning schedules are followed Collect, and weigh laundry. Sort laundry, and separate items that require special stain removal/treatment. Wash laundry in accordance with established procedures. Press/iron garments as instructed Fold, count, stack, hang, and distribute clean laundry as instructed. Transport clean linens and garments to different departments or locations as required. During emergency conditions, assure clean laundry is distributed to designated areas as instructed. Ensure equipment is clean and properly stored at the end of shift. Ensures adequate supply of laundry supplies are in stock. Notifies supervisor when supplies are low. Reports any mechanical or equipment needs to supervisor. Must be able to work as a team member. Solid work ethic, with the initiative for quality and customer service Must be reliable and get to work on-time. Must be authorized to work in the United States.
