Laundry Attendant (part of Marriott International) 3.2 3.2 out of 5 stars 7979 Essen Park Avenue, Baton Rouge, LA 70809 Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are laundered, cleaned, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our guests’ experience in our hotel environment. Responsibilities Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently and safely. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items according to established procedures. Ensure that all linens and garments are cleaned to meet quality standards. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for specific items. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area. Report any equipment malfunctions or maintenance needs to management promptly. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and equipment. Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies and materials. Experience Previous experience in a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required. Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes, is a plus. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of laundry tasks.
