Full Time Laundry Aide Responsibilities:

Ensures all resident and facility items are thoroughly laundered using laundry products as directed by the supervisor, adhering to state and federal guidelines for clean/safety standards Follow established safety work area procedure Changing gloves and washing hands between rooms Assuring all infection control procedures are followed Washing, drying, folding linen and clothing items in a neat manner. Resident clothing is hung and sorted on racks by room and floors for easy delivery. Sorts and delivers resident items daily/weekly. Ensures all items are clearly marked with resident names. Assists to identify any unmarked/unclaimed items. Keep halls clear of objects (ie. tables, beds, carts) to ensure safe pathways Assists residents in hanging up and organizing their belongings being delivered Assist in moving and/or removing heavy objects and room relocations as directed Ensure room readiness for new residents by deep cleaning room, preparing bed with new linens/comforter, and placing bed in highest position Performs other reasonable duties as directed by the leadership team.
