We are currently hiring a Laundry Aide to support our facility by ensuring residents have clean, fresh linens and clothing each day.

Nursing and Rehabilitation What You’ll Do:
Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute laundry for residents and facility use. Label and organize personal clothing items to ensure they are returned properly. Operate washers and dryers according to safety and sanitation standards. Monitor inventory of linens and laundry supplies and report shortages or needed repairs. Follow infection control procedures, including proper handling of soiled or contaminated items. Maintain a clean and organized laundry room environment. Report equipment malfunctions or safety concerns to supervisor. Treat all residents’ belongings with care, professionalism, and respect.
Job Requirements:
High school diploma or GED preferred, or equivalent work experience. Ability to follow verbal and written instructions in English. Prior laundry or housekeeping experience in healthcare or hospitality is a plus, but not required. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Respectful and compassionate attitude toward residents and co-workers. Ability to lift up to 40 pounds, stand and walk for extended periods, and perform repetitive motions (folding, lifting, pushing carts). Why Join Lotus Village?
