Laundry Attendant Hatteras Island Cleaning Frisco, NC 27936 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our establishment. This position is essential in ensuring that all items are laundered, cleaned, and presented to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional guest experience in our hotel environment. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers to launder linens, towels, and blankets. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures. Inspect items for stains or damage prior to laundering and take appropriate action. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is in good working order. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items. Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment. Requirements Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with laundering techniques, including knowledge of fabric care labels. Ability to operate laundry equipment effectively and safely. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to quality work. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently. Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 40 pounds) and stand for extended periods. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.
