Laundry Attendant Hampton Inn – Cornelius Cornelius, NC 28031 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, uniforms, and guest clothing are laundered and presented to the highest standards of cleanliness. You will play a vital role in maintaining the quality and reputation of our establishment, providing exceptional service to our guests. Responsibilities Launder and clean various types of fabrics, including linens, towels, and uniforms. Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently. Sort, fold, and store clean laundry items in designated areas. Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed for specific garments. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the laundry area. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and notify management when reordering is necessary. Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines while handling chemicals and equipment. Provide excellent customer service by responding to guest requests regarding laundry services. Requirements Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required. Familiarity with laundering techniques, including dry cleaning processes. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Must be able to lift heavy loads and stand for extended periods. Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays as needed.
