2nd Shift Laundry Shell Island Resort 2700 North Lumina Avenue, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480 Hotel Laundry Room Attendant – 3pm-11pm Basic Function Responsible for consistently meeting or exceeding quality and timeliness standards. Ensuring that company values and standards are met and followed daily. Responsibilities Must adhere to Shell Island Handbook and Standard Operating Procedures Available to work 3pm-11pm Provide clean linens by loading washers with soiled linens and soap, loading dryers with clean linens, and folding dry clean linen for storing in designated areas. Maintain a clean and safe work area which includes insuring machines are in working order, chemical dispensers are operational, and sweeping and cleaning the laundry room floor. Ensure supply closets and storage room areas are kept cleaned and stocked. Always maintain a high standard of professionalism and composure. Willing and able to perform any and all duties to site operation as directed by your manager Personal timeliness; be prompt with all assignments and duties Utilize supplies and equipment efficiently and effectively Assist in inventory of supplies Assist in solving guest complaints promptly Cultivate and develop strong positive customer relations Willing and able to assist resort guests, owners and team members Knowledgeable of resort Must be able to stand and walk for up to 8 hours at a time Ability to perform repetitive tasks such as reaching, kneeling, and bending on a regular basis Regularly lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs Ability to perform daily tasks such as cleaning bathrooms, mopping and vacuuming floors.
