Laundry Attendant Great Smokys Cabin Rentals, LLC. 1181 Main Street, Bryson City, NC 28713 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments in our facility. This position is essential for ensuring that all items are laundered, pressed, and delivered to the highest standards of quality. Experience in dry cleaning or hotel laundry services is a plus. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers to launder linens, uniforms, and other items according to established procedures. Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry items efficiently while adhering to safety and quality standards. Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and apply appropriate stain removal techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, ensuring all equipment is properly cleaned after use. Assist with inventory management by tracking laundry supplies and notifying management when stock is low. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of laundry services, meeting the needs of guests or clients. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling cleaning chemicals and operating machinery. Requirements Previous experience in laundry services, dry cleaning, or hotel operations is preferred but not mandatory. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering clean and well-presented items. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads as required.
