Job Description

Laundry Supervisor 2.9 2.9 out of 5 stars Rome, NY Description Our company is currently seeking an experienced Laundry Supervisor to assist the Director of Housekeeping with routine manual work in processing laundry-related tasks under general supervision. Laundry Supervisor with experience in a long-term care facility, hospital, or healthcare setting preferred. Laundry Supervisor Key Responsibilities Follow cleaning policies and procedures to ensure proper washing. Collect, sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and personal clothing. Operate laundry equipment safely and efficiently. Interact positively with residents, staff, and guests, providing excellent customer service. Perform other job-related duties as they become required. Laundry Supervisor Skills, Knowledge and Expertise High school diploma or general education degree (GED). 1-2 years long-term care or healthcare experienced preferred. Must have verbal and written communication skills.
