Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our hotel’s laundry facilities. This role is essential to maintaining a high standard of hygiene and guest satisfaction.

Duties:

• Perform laundry duties, including washing, drying, ironing, and folding of hotel linens.
• Strip hotel rooms of dirty linens and terry, and inspect for any damages to room or linen, reporting any such issues to management and performing proper documentation of such damages.
• Clean and maintain laundry equipment, including washers, and dryers.
• Proper usage of, inventory of, and restocking of chemicals and dispensers.
• Ensure laundry is done to the highest standard, adhering to quality control measures.
• Monitor laundry supplies and report any shortages to management.
• Maintain a clean and organized laundry area, adhering to health and safety regulations.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure a seamless service to guests.

Qualifications:

• Prior experience in laundry operations or a related field.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that require standing for extended periods and lifting.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high-quality standards.
• Basic knowledge of laundry techniques and equipment maintenance.
• Ability to work independently, quickly, and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
