Job Overview :
Perform laundry cleaning activities in accordance with established brand/hotel guest service and sustainability standards ensuring a high level of guest satisfaction. Reports to :
Executive Housekeeper & Assistant Executive Housekeeper Laundry Attendant Essential Tasks:
Conduct self in accordance with As One Mission and Values, as well as Brand Standards. Sort, count, and pre-treat soiled linen in preparation for laundering. Load and unload washers and dryers. Maintain equipment as trained including checking for fire hazards and lint cleaning. Fold, store and distribute towels and linens. Practice safe work habits and wear protective safety equipment. Assist with other housekeeping tasks in the event of staffing shortages including stripping rooms. Maintain clean work areas. Be aware of guest satisfaction scores and work toward increasing departmental and overall guest satisfaction. Operate in a timely manner to be in accordance with CPOR guidelines for labor budget. Complete all brand required training, including As One Safety Training/policies/practices. Perform other duties as requested by management. Your Background and Skills High School Diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous housekeeping experience or equivalent preferred. Collaborative Problem Solver Self Motivated Positive Disposition Solution Orientated Work Environment and Context Refer to your offer letter for clarity of hours you were hired primarily for but note; Work schedule could vary and may include working all shifts, holidays and weekends. Requires standing for extended periods of time, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, bending, reaching, stooping, manual dexterity, kneeling or crouching.
