The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all linens, towels, and garments are cleaned, pressed, and presented to the highest standards. This role is essential in maintaining the cleanliness and quality of our laundry services, particularly in a hotel or similar environment. Duties Operate washing machines and dryers efficiently to launder linens, towels, and guest clothing. Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store all items according to established procedures. Inspect items for stains or damage before laundering and report any issues to management. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and work surfaces. Ensure proper use of cleaning chemicals and adhere to safety protocols at all times. Assist with dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring that all garments are treated with care. Collaborate with housekeeping staff to ensure timely delivery of clean items to guest rooms and common areas. Qualifications Previous experience in a hotel laundry or dry cleaning environment is preferred but not required. Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards. Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Must be able to stand for long periods and lift heavy loads as required. A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team are essential for success in this role.
