Laundry Attendant Duties and Responsibilities Sorting, washing, drying linen and terry items. Producing bundles containing bedroom linen/terry sets, bathroom sets and kitchen sets. Identify stained or damaged items to determine whether spot treatment, rewash or the discarding of item(s) is necessary. Accurately log in all incoming owner linen and other household items. Maintain accurate records of all laundered items to be returned to the Property Manager(s). Receiving and verifying accuracy of all vendor produced linen and terry deliveries. Remove lint and debris from dryer screens after each load. Report all safety hazards, accidents, injuries, or damage to the manager. Monitoring and maintaining stock levels for all operating supplies. Always maintain a polite and courteous attitude with all team members and guests. Follow established policies and procedures by monitoring and ensuring compliance with organizational standards and operational processes. Perform additional duties as assigned. Skills and qualifications Must be responsible, hard-working, trustworthy, detail oriented, flexible, honest and reliable. Effective teamwork and interpersonal skills; ability to communicate verbally. Great customer service skills including listening carefully and exercising patience. Must be able to work in a fast paced environment. Prior experience is preferred. Physical Requirements This position requires complete mobility and the ability to withstand extreme outdoor environments. Must be able to stand, sit and/or walk a minimum of 8 hours daily and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
