Laundry Attendant Holiday Inn Express Pigeon Forge Near Dollywood 308 Henderson Chapel Road, Pigeon Forge, TN 37863 Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. This is a part-time position, however, we can offer additional hours cleaning rooms if desire. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in ensuring that all linens and towels, are laundered, cleaned, and maintained to the highest standards of quality. This position is essential for maintaining the cleanliness and comfort of our hotel environment, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. Duties Launder and clean various items including linens, towels, and other hotel items according to established procedures. Operate washing machines, dryers, and other laundry equipment efficiently and safely. Sort, fold, and organize clean laundry for distribution to appropriate areas within the hotel. Maintain cleanliness of the laundry area by regularly cleaning machines and workspaces. Monitor inventory levels of laundry supplies and report any shortages or maintenance needs. Follow all safety protocols and guidelines while handling chemicals and operating equipment. Qualifications Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role within a hotel or similar environment is preferred but not required. Knowledge of laundering techniques and fabric care is a plus. Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment. Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds as required.
