The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens, garments, and other textiles within our facility. This position requires a commitment to quality service and an understanding of laundry processes, including dry cleaning and laundering techniques. Duties Operate laundry equipment, including washers, dryers, and pressing machines, ensuring proper settings for various fabric types. Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to established procedures. Inspect items for stains or damages prior to laundering and apply appropriate stain removal techniques. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area to ensure a safe working environment. Collaborate with hotel staff to ensure timely delivery of clean linens and garments. Adhere to all safety protocols while handling chemicals and operating machinery. Assist in inventory management by tracking supplies needed for laundry operations. Skills Experience in dry cleaning or commercial laundry operations is preferred. Knowledge of fabric care labels and appropriate laundering techniques. Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify stains and damages effectively. Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Good communication skills to interact with staff members and understand their needs regarding laundry services.
