About Us:

MJHR offers exceptional long-term care and rehabilitation services in our 160-bed, Cordova based facility.

Work Hours:

2:00 p.m.

• 10:00 p.

m., two week rotation, every other weekend off.

Responsibilities include:

Demonstrates ability to adjust to changes in shift assignments to meet Facility needs. Handles all laundry in accordance with sanitary guidelines. Sorts all soiled laundry into appropriate categories. Lifts and carries loads of laundry to / from cleaning equipment. Washes, dries, folds, and hangs all laundry neatly and properly. Identifies personal laundry with resident’s name and re-marks personal clothing items. Returns clean resident laundry to appropriate rooms and supply areas. Cleans dryer filters every 2 (two) hours, keeps laundry area clean, machines dusted, and floor mopped weekly. Memphis Jewish Home and Rehab is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer. Duties:

• Perform dry cleaning and laundry services for hotel guests
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold linens and garments according to hotel standards
• Inspect items for stains, damages, or necessary repairs
• Operate and maintain dry cleaning equipment and machinery
• Follow proper procedures for handling and storing chemicals and cleaning agents
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in dry cleaning or laundry services preferred
• Knowledge of different fabric types and their care requirements
• Ability to operate dry cleaning equipment safely and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify stains or damages on items
• Excellent time management skills to ensure timely completion of tasks
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
