Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute linens and resident clothing Maintained cleanliness and organization of laundry area Operate laundry machinery safely and efficiently Inspect items for damage or stains and handle them appropriately Follow proper infection control procedures during laundry operations Adhere to all health and safety guidelines and regulations Communicate effectively with nursing staff about laundry needs and issues Assist with inventory management of laundry supplies as needed
Requirements:
Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role preferred Ability to lift heavy items and perform physical tasks Basic knowledge of laundry equipment and products 4 ON and 2 OFF rotation. The first 2 days 7a-3p and the next 2 days 3p-11p
